Mormon?

Is anyone here a recovering Mormon?
I've started Dating a beautiful woman everything seems perfect except...Her grandparents are Mormon. I am closer to Zen Buddhist if I had to choose something but really I'm far from any religious affiliation.

Any thing I should be aware of?
I already know I can't do any of the god swears or say Jesus Christ when I'm pissed or stub my toe etc, which sucks because those were my best swears.
I can't even type GSUS when we are chatting online.
Other that that she's amazing. Any former Mormons that can give me a heads up on any sort of weirdness I should watch out for?
She's seems worthy of cutting the rest of the ladies out to see where it goes but the whole American Jesus thing kinda makes me hesitant.

Wow, I never expect to get a thread like this in a gambling forum but yeah I'm a recovering Mormon.

I use to be a hardcore Mormon all the way thru High School but my girl at the time broke up with me right before college and I went on a rampage through out college and pretty much just stopped going to church but instead did abit of drugs, alchohol, sex, and gambling.

As for true Mormons, I think some of big taboos include you can't drink any caffinated drinks (like Coke, Tea, or Coffee). Also if you do happen to marry this chick, it is looked down upon to practice protected sex. I'm 24 now and most of my old mormon friends are all married with atleast 2 kids with another one on the way.

As for me, I was brought up thru the church and my personal opinion of Mormons are they are very good hearted people that are adamant about young people going on missions and are some what naive towards the authenticity of the book of Mormon (which is a scripture describing the days following Jesus' ressurection where he made a stop in the Americas to teach the ancient American natives about Christianity right before he ascended into Heaven).

As for Mormon girls, I honestly think they're some of the best girls out there. They're all very motherly but are freaks in bed once you tied the knots with them.

i dated a mormon in h.s. and i will need val.bets. to clerify this up a little bit but i remember our relationship fell apart because she was putting a lot of pressure on me to convert and be a part of her religion. she tried to explaine to me how important it was for both of us to be mormon because of where we go when we die. (details are vague, it was 20 yrs. ago) something to do with different levels of heaven that people go to... I cant remember much about it but i know this is why we split up. i would read up a little about the religions beliefs and see if thats a direction you can go

Thanks for the heads up...She's out of the church, we drink coffee, Vodka and wear condoms...err at least I do...she doesn't have a penis...if she did the Mormon thing would be the least of my worries.

Lots of mormons and catholics in the small town I grew up in....the catholic kids were alcoholics...the mormons were druggies and sex addicts.

Definitely liked the mormon girls!

This is very true, the religion requires you to be baptised in order to be judged to go into Heaven which has several levels, symbolized by Earth, Moon, and the Sun. In fact, you should also baptized your deceased relatives and family just so they can go into heaven. I actually went to the DC Mormon temple as a kid to do just that, baptized for the dead.

You know what it really brings back some fond/awful memories of my high school days. I remember clearly how I had the exact same attitude as your ex when i was in high school. My ultimate mission was to convert somebody so I can get ready for missionary work. I would give them rides to school, call them up for bible/book of mormon studies at 5:45am on school days. I'm still surprised some of those tards actually went to them with me. Seriously, my ultimate goal was just to attend BYU, go on a mission, and marry some hot Mormon girl and have 4 kids.

Sadly, I did well on SATs and instead of going with my ex to BYU went to UVa and lived it up for 4 years and now turned into a mother fucking degenerate :nopityA: .

Mormon chicks are different these days. They're like the new generation of catholic chicks. They act all clean and innocent in front of their parents and relatives but they're really a bunch of horny bitches.

I still remember the talk our previous prophet gave at one of my youth conferences. He said young Mormon boys should respect their Mormon sisters and should obey the strike zone rule. Which is defined as young mormon boys are not allowed to touch or stimulate anything inside the baseball strike zone on a woman's body. uppy:
